Each of Aruba's restaurants offers a different ambience. International menus include Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, Italian, French and Cantonese cuisine. Reservations are suggested during the high season of December through April. Visitors with kids who want the foods they're used to can also find all of the popular fast-food chain restaurants.

Local Aruban restaurants are plentiful and many feature fresh seafood. If you're a deep sea fisherman, some restaurants will cook and serve your catch of the day. One good place to get a sampling of local temptations is at the Bonbini Festival which takes place every Tuesday night at Fort Zoutman in Oranjestad. Many sunset cruises also include dining. Ships will bring you to a cove and drop anchor for dinner, dancing and moonlit swims.
